Flamingo Embroidery Kit

Fact: a group of flamingos is called a 'flamboyance'. How fantastic is that?!

There might only be one flamingo in this design, but you'll have loads of fun making it.

This kit contains everything you need to stitch a new feathery friend - perfect for bringing in some tropical holiday vibes!

• includes plenty of thread (in case you want to practice first), plus a booklet with photos of each stitch you'll use
• Embroidery hoop measures 8 inches (20cm) across
• packaged in a sustainably made gift box
• And there's a choice of upgrades to the kit:
• An organic, ethically sourced navy tote bag measuring 40 x 36cm (15 x 14 inches), with handles measuring 60cm (24 inches).
• A wooden banner set, measuring 20cm (inch) across, with magnets to hold the fabric in.
• An organic Navy cushion; the cotton is ethically grown in India, and cushion made by a women's cooperative. The cushion measures 45 x 45 cm (18 x 18 inches), with a zip fastening and piping on the seams. Cushion filler isn't included!

Sammy's Note: This flamingo design was one of my earliest ones - love how the strong pink colour contrasts against the dark blue, and the paisley shape of the wing gives the body some lovely detail. It's tropical, happy, and brings a bit of sunshine to every room it's in. I even credit this design with Paraffle's original success - after being featured in Martha Stewart's blog, my tiny small business started to take flight!
