Flower Vase Embroidery Kit
Vivid colours! 3D stitches! It's all going on in this fabulous floral embroidery kit,
Inspired by the work of Kaffe Fassett (specifically an exhibition poster, 'Flower Vase'), this kit incorporates the colour and pattern that he is so well known for.
This kit is a little more challenging than other Paraffle designs: it's ideal for anyone looking to expand their current embroidery skills (or for ambitious beginners!). As with all of my kits, there's photographic instructions for each new stitch, and lots of tips and advice to guide you along the way.
There's a fantastic range of stitches to learn, including Picot Stitch, Braided Chain Stitch, Colonials Knots, and Turkey Work - so grab yourself a kit and get started!

Flower Vase
Another great design. I'm nearing the end of this one and have enjoyed choosing the various colours and learning some new stitches. I would say that this is not for beginners, unless you buy the kit with full instructions. I just bought the pattern and taught myself the unknown stitches from various books of embroidery stitches.
Great kit!
I loved doing this kit! It's a beautiful design with some fab colours. I really enjoyed learning the different types of stitches within it too - some I'd never done before, and I loved how the turkey work in particular turned out. My Mum suggested trimming it after washing the transfer off to keep it neat and prevent it fraying which was a good tip!
Only tiny point was that the kit suggests doing picot stitch last, which I did, but then found the needle/weaving kept getting caught in the surrounding stitches which definitely made it harder, so if I did this again I'd probably do the picot before the rest of the big flower.

Loved the design looking forward to doing it shortly
New stitches to learn
Really pleased with this kit, everything provided is of good quality. Looking forward to a slightly more challenging project, all the support from Sam is so useful when learning new stitches. I’ve just started the project and I’m really enjoying it so far.
Lovely flowers
Looks pretty and love to try new stitches
