Orange Needle Painting Pattern

This fruity pattern was designed with beginners in mind - with step-by-step photo instructions (and only four thread colours!), you'll learn how to build up and blend colours to create a realistic orange design.

This is a PDF download, so you will need to source fabric, thread, needles, an embroidery hoop, and a pattern transfer paper (e.g. dressmaker's carbon paper). Please make sure that you have a PDF reader (e.g. Adobe Acrobat), and access to a printer.

Paraffle note: I originally intended to make this as a fun Christmas bauble - but as you can see, it turned out pretty summery and works as a fun decoration for any season! For an extra twist, the finished piece is even sturdy enough to make a patch for a jacket.
