Orders FAQs

We almost certainly do, but you can check and confirm by by using our order lookup tool (next FAQ!).

Sometimes our emails end up in spam boxes, so do check your spam if you haven't received any email from us.

You can check the current status of your order using our order lookup page here.

If you don't know your order number, select "Lookup with email only" on the order lookup page.

So long as your items are in the same condition you received them, then absolutely - just get in touch! If you're returning an item, we can only refund the cost of the product, not the shipping costs.

Shipping & Delivery FAQs

Once you've received your order confirmation email, we will dispatch your order as quickly as possible.

If you place your order before 11am on a weekday, we'll aim to get it dispatched the same day. Our postman only collects on weekdays, so if you order on the weekend it'll normally be on Monday that we dispatch it.

This isn't always possible, so if your order is particularly time sensitive, please drop us a note so we can prioritise it!

Yes we do, we ship all international orders using Royal Mail International Tracked.

If you're ordering from the EU, we'll automatically charge you the relevant taxes.

If you're ordering from Canada, Australia, New Zealand there should be no customs fees/duties.

If you're ordering from America, customs duties will probably be charged by the US government from August 30th 2025, which you'll be responsible for paying. We think it will be around 10% you'll be charged, but we don't really know! So, for now, order at your own risk... As soon as it's clear, we'll update.

Materials

We ship all orders using 100% recycled mailers and envelopes, made in the UK.

Our kit boxes for our mini kits are made in the UK from an FSC mix sustainable cardboard, and printed using non toxic inks.

Our Kraft bags for our 6" and larger kits are made from 100% recycled kraft.

We print all of our instructions in Scotland on recycled paper.

The fabric we use in our embroidery kits is 100% organic cotton grown and weaved in India by a family company. It's dyed responsibly by the same firm, using low impact dyes and processes that recycle the water used in the process.

Our cushions are made from GOTS certified organic cotton.

Our Tote bags are 100% Organic cotton.

Our Aida fabric is made in Germany by Zweitgart; they invented Aida way back in 1907 and have made it since then! It's not organic

We use DMC Mouliné stranded cotton in all of our kits.

Some of our kits have metallic thread - where stranded metallic thread is included in your kit, it's DMC Mouliné Light Effects Stranded thread. If you have a kit with metallic thread that isn't stranded (i.e. one thread that doesn't separate) it's made by Au Ver à Soie.

Both DMC and Au Ver à Soie make their thread in France.
