A bright, floral embroidery pattern - 3D stitches and all!
This embroidery design was inspired by the work of Kaffe Fassett (specifically an exhibition poster, 'Flower Vase'), and incorporates his use of pattern and bright colours.
This pattern is more challenging than Paraffle's beginner patterns - perfect for people looking to develop their hand embroidery skills (or for ambitious beginners!).
This PDF includes detailed instructions on how to do each stitch, including Picot Stitch, Turkey Work, Long and Short Stitch, and Colonial Knots.
The pattern is designed to fit an 8 inch hoop, but could be scaled up or down to match any size.
This is a PDF download only, so you will need to source fabric, embroidery thread, needles, an embroidery hoop, and Solvy transfer paper (all easy to find online and elsewhere if you don't have them at home already). Please make sure that you have a PDF reader (e.g. Adobe Acrobat), and access to a printer.
