This spooky little spider makes for a fantastic Halloween decoration. Choose how you want to display it - you can even make it into a patch for your clothes!
For this project, you'll need: grey fabric; DMC thread (colours 434, 310, and 422); a 3 inch hoop; a needle, and transfer paper (either printable, or carbon paper).
If you want to make a web for your spider to sit in, the pattern is available as a free download here!
This was so much fun! I really wanted to do a Hallowe'en inspired sew and saw this, it looked ideal.
The instructions were easy to follow and I really enjoyed seeing the spider fill in as I went along.
I crushed the stitching a little applying the interface. I think the iron was on too long, but I'm just learning.
The web was the free pattern and i like my spider having a home. I used 3 threads, but I think 2 would've been better.
What to do next!...
