Thread Wax
Tangled threads, be gone!
Thread wax is my favourite solution for threads that just don't want to behave and need a bit of extra help (I'm looking at you, DMC metallics!).
A light coating is all that's needed to smooth out stray strands and get wayward threads moving smoothly through your fabric. Only a small amount is needed, so this pot will last you a good while - and you'll wonder how you managed without it!
Use a thumb to press one end of your thread against the wax, then pull the thread all the way through to make sure the length of it is covered. Run the thread through pinched fingers a couple of times, to remove residue and ensure it's evenly coated. Sorted!

I was so disappointed when I first used metallic thread! It's so annoying and difficult but thanks to the thread wax, it's much easier! I couldn't find thread wax on any other website so I'm very glad I have found some on Paraflle!
