Rainbow Stork Embroidery Scissors

These have a rainbow effect nickel plated coating on the handles, and are made from carbon steel. The rainbow effect is unique to your scissors - all of the pairs we have in stock are slightly different!

The stork design is a timeless embroidery scissors design - rumour has it that stork scissors were first made because midwives would embroider whilst awaiting delivery, and used the same pair of scissors to cut their thread as they did the umbilical cord!

9cm in length - That's the full length from tip of scissors to the base of the handles.

Made in Premana, Lombardy, Italy. Premana has iron ore mines nearby, and they've made steel scissors and other metal tools there for hundreds of years.
